Gilbreath - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post June 1, 2008 TALLULAH — Earl E. Gilbreath died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Christus St. Joseph Nursing Home in Monroe, La. He was 91. Born in Dardanelle, Ark., Mr. Gilbreath lived in Tallulah for about 65 years. He was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Tallulah Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gilbreath Philpott of Montgomery, Ala., and Bettye Gilbreath Whaley of Baton Rouge; three sons, George Earl Gilbreath of New London, N.C., Jerry Lynn Gilbreath of Monroe and Gary Ben Gilbreath of Bossier City; two brothers, Billy Gilbreath of Bastrop and Ivern Gilbreath of Collinston, La.; 11 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren. Services will be at10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence, with Brother Richard Taylor officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
