Gayle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 20, 1974 Mrs. Robbie M. Gayle Robbie M. Gayle, 89, of Tallulah, died in the Delta Haven Nursing Home following a long illness. Funeral services were held at 4 p. m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. S. xxxxx, of McComb, Miss., Mrs. R. W. xxxx of Appalachicola, Fla., Mrs. Roy xxxx of Brookhaven, Miss. and Mrs Hubert Beall of Pineville, La. and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gayle was a native of Lakeland, Fla. and a resident of Madison Parish for over 60 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Pallbearers were C. E. Walker, H. S. Weaver, R. E. Brown, Frederick Gandy, Clay Crawford, and M. B. Christian. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. H. S. Provine and H. C. Sevier, Jr. and the board of deacons of the First Baptist Church.
