All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Norman Gayle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 30, 1960 Funeral Services Held Thursday For Norman Gayle Funeral services for Norman Gayle, 63, who died Tuesday in a Vicksburg hospital, were held at the Methodist Church Thursday morning at 10:00 A. M. with the Rev. Wilson Watson, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery with Young's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Gayle, a native of Columbus, Ky., had lived in Tallulah for 35 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and was custodian of voting machines for Madison and East Carroll parishes. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Alline Farelconer, Acton, Indiana; Mrs. Ruth Byassee, Columbus, Ky., two brothers, Hugert Gayle, Indianapolis, Ind.; Stuart Gayle, Lexington, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. R. S. Gayle, Tallulah; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were George Speed, L. E. Levee, R. R. Mitchell, W. J. Finlayson, Manfred Gustafson, Don Richardson, Jesse Anderson and W. H. Erickson.
