Gayle died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. She was 52. Mrs. Gayle was born in East Carroll Parish and lived in Tallulah most of her life. She owned an upholstery shop and worked as a records clerk at TCCY and Jiffy Tax. She was of the Pentecost faith. She is survived by her husband, Frank C. Gayle Sr. of Tallulah; a son, Frank C. Gayle Jr. of Tallulah; two daughters, Crystal Gayle and Beth Gayle, both of West Monroe; six brothers, Alvin Sullivan Sr. of Transylvania, Jerry Sullivan of Delhi, David Sullivan of Pioneer, Jimmy Sullivan of Forrest, Johnny Sullivan of Oak Grove and Daniel Sullivan of Transylvania; and a sister, Connie Gayle of Tallulah. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Bearden officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 8 tonight. Pallbearers will be her nephews.
