JAMES GATES James E. Gates, 67, passed away Dec. 11, 2009. He was born in Tallulah, La., and was a 
47-year resident of Las Vegas. He is survived by his fiance, Marilyn Dixon; daughter, Terrie Turner; 
son, Armand Gates; brother, Lee Gates; and three grandchildren, Remon, Ariel and Ariana. A memorial 
service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, 
1117 N. F. St., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
