Freeman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 10, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. Tommy W. Freeman, age 54, were held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Nichols officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Freeman died Friday, Dec. 5, 1997, in the E. A. Conway Medical Center in Monroe after a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Madison Parish and was a diesel mechanic. Survivors include his wife, Edna Hoffman Freeman of Tallulah; one daughter, Tonya Freeman Brewer of Tallulah; three sisters, Rowena Johnson of Grand Prairie, Texas, Ella Price of Vicksburg, Miss., and Peggy Manuel of' Gretna, Miss.; and one brother, James Freeman of Vidalia, La. Pallbearers were Melvin "Red" Byrd, Keith Byrd, Larry Ghrigsby, William Johnson, Rusty Bedgood and James Hoffman. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
