All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Hilton Ira Freeman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 18, 1974 Funeral services were held Thursday for Hilton Ira Freeman, 62, in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home. Rites were officiated by the Rev. James Messer and burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Freeman died Monday night in a New Orleans hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of Franklin County, Miss., Mr. Freeman had resided in Madison Parish for the past 50 years. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include three brothers, Rowan Freeman and Decateur Freeman, of xxxx and Rayford Freeman of Homer; four sisters, Mrs. John Scott xxxx and xxxdine Redditt, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Hubert Scott of Monroe and xxxx xxxx of Like Providence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
