All rights reserved. ************************************************ Decator Freeman - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, September 1, 2006 TALLULAH - Decator Freeman died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Shreveport. He was 78. Born in Mound, Mr. Freeman was a resident of Haynesville, La., and had lived most of his life in Tallulah. He was a veteran of the Air Force and was a retired diesel mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Janey Freeman of Haynesville; two daughters, Sharron J. Ritzell and Mary Helen White, both of Haynesville; a brother, Rayford Freeman of Homer, La.; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Tee Don White officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home until the service.
