All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Robert Elzie Fowler - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 17, 1993 Funeral services for Mr. Robert Elzie Fowler, 87, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Scarf officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery with Masonic graveside services. Mr. Fowler died Wednesday, Nov 10 at the Madison Parish Hospital after a sudden illness. He was a native of Weston, La. and had lived in Tallulah many years. He was a retired parts manager for Loe Equipment Company. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, member of the administration of the church and past master of Tallulah Masonic Lodge #308 F&AM. Mr. Fowler was also a past Master and District Deputy Grand Master of District 7, past Patron of Eastern Star and chairman of Education Committee of District 7. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Beard Fowler of Tallulah; one sister, Mertis Bagwell of Littleton, Col.; and a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dr. Gene Barlow, Dr. Larry Smith, Charles C. Beard Jr., Brandon Beard, Carroll Crow and Dusty Butler. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Goza, Jeff Thomas, Wayne Harkey, Henry Sevier, Jack Millikin, Charles Arneson and Dr. L. P Neumann.
