All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Myrtle Beard Fowler - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 6, 1995 Myrtle Beard Fowler died Friday, Dec. 1, 1995, at her home. She was 79. Mrs. Fowler was born in Mound and had lived in Tallulah for 40 years. She was a retired claims examiner for the state of Louisiana. She was member of the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Fowler was past international president of the International Association of Personnel Employment Security and past president of the Louisiana Chapter of the same association. She was a member of the Tallulah chapter of Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a sister, Rose Mary McInnis of Kosciusko; two brothers, Charles Carroll Beard of Shreveport and John Isham Beard of Signal Mountain, Tenn.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lillard Bevel officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was from 3 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home
