All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Horace Milton Foster Madison Parish, LA From The The Monroe Morning World (LA), Sunday, June 10, 1962 TALLULAH (Special) - Services for Horace Milton Foster, 57, who died early Friday morning, will be held in the First Baptist Church of Tallulah at 3:30 p.m. today. Rev. F. K. Shipp, pastor of the Sondheimer Baptist Church, will conduct the services, assisted by Rev. W. E. (Buddy) Pollard of Tallulah. Burial will be in the Garden of Memory Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Mr. Foster died of a heart attack Friday in an ambulance enroute to Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg. He had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 30 years and was employed by a local bottling company until about 10 years ago, when he became a farmer and cattleman. He was a native of Elizabethtown, Ill. Mr. Foster is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lola Foster; two sons, Charles Foster of New Orleans and Mike Foster of Tallulah; three sisters, Mrs. Edda Hart of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Mary Holt of Eudora, Ark., and Mrs. Lilly Fenney of East St. Louis, Ill.; three brothers, Marion Foster of Pompano Beach, Fla., Clarence Foster of Dearborn, Mich., and Henry Foster of West Frankford, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Clay Crawford, Moss Christian, Rozell Roper, C. E. Walker, H. N. Pippen, Jack Ward, Ira Hugh Ervin and Garland Roberson.
