Douglas Fortner Dies Saturday, Buried Sunday

Funeral services were held el 2:00 P. M. Sunday for Henry Douglas Fortner, 42, who died early Saturday 
in a Vicksburg Hospital. Rev. W. F. Mayo officiated at the services held in the Methodist Church. 
Interment, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in charge, were held in the Silver Cross Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Henry Douglas, Jr., of Jackson, Miss. and James Cason Fortner, of 
Monroe; one brother, Houston Fortner, of Gulfport; one sister, Miss Louise Fortner of Tallulah.
