All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Virginia Jewell Lee Fondren - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, September 30, 2010 TALLULAH — Virginia Jewell Lee Fondren died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 84. Mrs. Fondren was born in Peyton, Mo., and had lived in Tallulah for 67 years. She was a retired housewife and a member of Acts Tabernacle Church. Survivors include four sons, James Albert “Jim” Fondren Jr. of Tallulah, Robert Dewey Fondren of Farmerville, La., and William Earl Fondren and Lloyd Ray Fondren, both of Tallulah; a daughter, Eva Marie Fondren Taylor of Tallulah; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 today at Acts Tabernacle Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Greg Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in charge. Visitation was last night from 5 until 9 at the church. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
