All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Leroy Teck Fondren - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 30, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. Leroy Teck Fondren, age 78, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 1997, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Duwayne Whittington and the Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Fondren died Thursday, July 24, 1997, in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Madison Parish for 68 years. He was a welder and a farmer and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Flora A. Fondren of Tallulah; and one brother, James Albert Fondren of Tallulah. Nephews served as pallbearers: William Fondren. Lloyd Fondren, Jimmy Fondren, Dewey Fondren, Charles Fondren and Bernie Jobe. Honorary pallbearers were Bubba Cummins, Bo Cummins and Joe Jobe. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah was in charge of arrangements.
