All rights reserved. ************************************************ Otis Edwin Florence - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post May 1, 2001 TALLULAH - Otis Edwin Florence died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 70. Mr. Florence was born in Tallulah. He was a retired welder and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Monique Guzman Florence of Tallulah; two daughters, Amelia Smith of Augusta, Ga., and Cheryl Godfrey of Glenwood, Hawaii; four sisters, Bessie Lee Collins and Odie Mae Reynolds, both of Tallulah, Betty Sue Whitley of Hope, Ark., and Grace Riley of Deer Park, Texas; five grandchildren and other relatives. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Vistation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Wayne Florence, Preston Walker, Curt Collins, Dave Collins, Danny Collins, Greg Collins, Kevin Collins and John Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be Truman Collins, Gerald Collins, Donald Collins, Steve Collins, Charley Hopkins, Donald Wayne Arender, Buddy Ainsworth and Carlton Whitaker.
