All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Linnie Mae Florence - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 27, 1972 Mrs. Florence rites held Linnie Mae Florence, 66, of Tallulah, died early Monday in a Vicksburg, Miss Hospital. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Montrose Baptist Church near here with the Reverends Wayne Richardson and Mac Bonner officiating. Burial was in the Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah. Mrs. Florence was a native of Prentiss, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for 47 years. She was a charter member of the Montrose Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, L Otis Florence of Tallulah: four daughters, Mrs. Wilburn Collins and Mrs. Joe Reynolds, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Larry Walker of Hope, Ark. and Mrs. Ken Riley of Hayward, Calif.; three sons, Ray Florence of Bastrop, Gaines Florence of Tallulah, and Edwin Florence of Soldatoma, Alaska: one sister. Mrs. Luther Rodgers of Oak Grove: 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ilar Osborne. A. L Harvey, Billy Ray Arender, S. M. Brewer, Warren Mills and Jack Varner.
