All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Elbert Landis Ferguson (Ebb) - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal May 7, 2015 Elbert Landis Ferguson (Ebb), 87 of Paris, Tenn., was born May 10, 1927, in Monroe, Louisiana and died Tues., April 28, 2015, in Byhalia, Miss. He was a member of the Van Dyke Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, William N. and Ruth Hall Ferguson, seven sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Ezell Ferguson; daughters, Sherri (James) Draper and Janet (Keith) Honeycutt; three grandchildren, Christy (Jay) Honeycutt Brockman, Philip (Claire) Landis Draper and James Michael (Suzanne) Draper; and four great-grandchildren, Hayley, Hunter and Houston Brockman, and Zeke Draper. He served his country proudly and honorably in two wars and was a life-long member of Disabled Veterans of America. Ferguson served as the Veterans Service Officer of Madison and East Carroll parishes in Louisiana. He was twice elected Mayor of the town of Richmond.
