Ferguson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 9, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Alpha H. Ferguson, 82, of Tallulah were Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Frank Shields and Bryan Beaubeth officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Ferguson died Saturday at Concordia Parish Hospital in Ferriday after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Murfreesboro, Ark. and a resident of Tallulah for the past several years. Survivors include three sons, O. H. Ferguson of Port Allen, Robert L. Ferguson, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Ross D. Ferguson of DeQuincy; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Helen Craft of Waterproof and Mrs. Bernice Faye Zeigler of Tallulah; two brothers, Herman Head and Beau Head, both of Murfreesboro, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Gardner and Mrs. Nobia Green, both of Murfreesboro, Ark., and Mrs. Willie Greenlee of Lubbock, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gene Butler, Don Butler, James Panquin, Leo Watson, Richard Marshall and Buford White.
