All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Matthew Curtis Farlow - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 17, 1974 Matthew Curtis Farlow Rites were held for Matthew Curtis Farlow, 58, Saturday at 11 a.m. at the St. Edwards Catholic Church in Tallulah. Services were officiated by Father Giles Boyer. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Farlow died Thursday at his home, apparently of heart attack. He was a native of Waterproof but moved to Lake Providence where he grew up and lived until moving to Madison Parish 27 years ago. A retired civil engineer, he was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna May Farlow of Tallulah; five sons, Capt. Joseph Edward Farlow of Baton Rouge, Staff Sgt. Matthew Curtis Farlow, Jr., Naples Italy, James Michael Farlow, Baton Rouge, Sgt. Thomas Lawrence Farlow, Barksdale Air Force Base, Shreveport, Robert Allen Farlow, Baton Rouge; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Annette Bellard, Melrose, Mass., Catherine Diane Farlow, Theresa Ann Farlow, and Angela Kay Farlow, all of Tallulah: two sisters, Miss Catherine Farlow of Lake Providence and Mrs. May Wade of Greenville, Miss. Pallbearers were Carl Don Ingram, James Morse, Tom Byrd, William Towne, Bobby Reynolds and Jack Millikin. Honorary pallbearers were Albert Walker, Milner Wells, George W. Johns, Louis Tonore, E. B. Towne, Fred Boughton, Fred Givens, L. E. Harris and H. N. Pippen.
