Samuel Edward Fair, Jr., a native of Tallulah, LA was born from the union of Samuel Edward Fair, Sr. and Magnolia B. Fair. He passed away peacefully on August 13, 2021.

Samuel was educated in the Madison Parish School System. As a young man, he relocated to New Orleans and began working at National-Canal Villere Warehouse. Later he retired from Cox Communications.

Samuel leaves to cherish his memories his wife Cornelia W. Fair, daughter Colleen F. Green (Jesse), siblings: Mary Kline and Haywood Fair (Beatrice), grandchildren: Justin, Javiona and Jaelyn Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Pearlie F. Francis.

 Relatives and friends, along with Pastors, officers and members of Mt. Zion UMC and St. Matthew UMC are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration Service on Saturday, August 21, 2021 for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA. Due to COVID-19, all attendees are REQUIRED to wear face masks.
