Ezell Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 27, 1977 Normie E. Ezell Jr., 64, of Tallulah, died Monday night in Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fla. after a short illness. He and his wife were vacationing in Florida. Funeral services will be held today in t Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Crawford Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Meadville, Miss., Mr. Ezell resided in Madison Parish for a number of years. He was a retired Superintendent for the Tumpane Co. of Terrehaute, Ind. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include his widow. Mrs. Ruby Ezell of Tallulah; three sons, W. G. Ezell of Nashville, Tenn., James W. Ezell and Normie E. Ezell III, both of Memphis, Tenn.; six daughters Mrs. Ella Ruth Hopkins of Tallulah, Mrs. Joann Ferguson of Memphis, Tem., Mrs. Shirley Scarbrough of Holmes Beach, Fla., Mrs. Donna Jean Fields of Shreveport, Mrs. Jerry Hartley of Slidell and Mrs. Marilyn Joyce King of Ashville, N. C.; his mother, Mrs. Ruby Ezell of Winnsboro; three brothers, J. D. Ezell and Lowey Ezell, both of Tallulah, and LaFay Ezell of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Andrews of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Hattie Polland of Crowville; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
