All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Geraldine Eakes Everhart - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 27, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Eakes Everhart, 41, were held Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Everhart died Thursday morning in the Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Philadelphia, Ms. and had been a resident of Tallulah for almost 41 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Larry Gene DeWeese of Tallulah; two brothers, Jeff Eakes and J. D. Eakes, both of Tallulah: and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Billy Rash, Jonathan Harris, Barney Garner, Norman Tarver, Lloyd Moore and Tony Harvey.
