All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Izora Doll Evans, Madison Parish, Louisiana From Cobbs Funeral Home, Pontiac, Michigan July 26, 2018 Mother Izora Doll Evans was born Izora Doll Jackson June 8, 1920 in Tallulah, LA to Mitchell Jackson the son of John and Lottie Jackson and Rosie Burns the daughter of Anderson and Elsie Burns. She died at her home of Orchard Lake, Michigan on July 20, 2018. Mother Evans took mid-morning naps and after 98 years of life she decided to just keep on napping. She leaves to cherish her memory a host of loved ones and friends including her son, Curtis J. Evans, six grandchildren; Elaine Taylor, Kysha Jane (Jamal) Harper, Cherisic Evans, Sandra (Alex) Dyer, Monique Shelton, Curtis James (LaSonia) Evans, Jr., Danyelle Nicole Evans and Kevin Evans. She is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, one loving niece, Clarice (Fred Sr.) Simmons and her loving caregivers; Douglas & Lauren Harper, Marcia Elaine Rodgers, Annie Craft, Pattie Evans & Shellie Houston. Mother Evans will lie in repose on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Cobb's Funeral Home 151 Orchard Lake Road., Pontiac, Michigan from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mother Evan's Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 512 Pearsall., Pontiac, Michigan. The family will meet with friends during the repose at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Mother Evans will be laid to rest at Perry Mt Park Cemetery of Pontiac, Michigan.
