All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** James Henry Eteen - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 26, 1943 Funeral services for James Henry Eteen, 73, who died in an Atlanta, Ga., hospital March 16 of a heart attack, were held at the chapel of Williams Funeral Home here Thursday afternoon, March 18. The Rev. J. Dean Maurer, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church here, officiated and burial was in Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. Eteen, a native of England, was formerly a resident of Shreveport where he owned and operated a race track in addition to his work as traveling salesman. His wife, the former Emma Harvey, was buried here about three years ago. The only survivor is a daughter, Mrs. Thomas S. O'Neill, of Broadview, Ill.
