All rights reserved. **************************************************************************************************************************************** Vera Mae Erwin Madison Parish, LA August 1, 1944 ~ February 1, 2021 (age 76) From The Crothers-Glanwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA February 3, 2021 After many years of spreading love and kindness, Vera Mae Erwin, age 76, has passed away. She left this life Monday, February 1, 2021, at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, Louisiana. Her rich life started in Eupora, Mississippi, on August 1, 1944. She was the daughter of Levi Estel and Cordie Mae Schaffer Sellars. She married the love of her life, Grady Erwin, on May 18, 1963, producing many adventures and love for all of their children and grandchildren in Tallulah, Louisiana. She always thought it was best if you were “dressed to impress”. She traveled the world, doing anything she wanted after retirement, including gardening, antiquing, and playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Grady, Jr. and wife Crystal, her daughter, Ladena; her brother and sister, Eddie and Ann; her eight grandchildren; Kyle and wife Haley, Mason and wife Holly, Chad, Sean, Ali, Jason, Collin, and Emily; and her five great grandchildren, John Henry, Meredith, Cecillia, Malachi, and Noah, each of whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Blythe Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Mathiston, Mississippi, at 2:00 PM, where she will be placed beside Grady, with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kyle Erwin, Mason Erwin, Chad Cunningham, Sean Wilson, Jason Fisher, and Collin Fisher. In lieu of flowers, please pick your favorite charity or maintain the flowers at her church, something she saw as her duty.
