All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Otis Leroy "Roy" Erwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 10, 1999 Funeral services for Mr. Otis Leroy "Roy" Erwin, 87, of Tallulah, were held Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999 in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Gaston officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mr. Erwin died early Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, in the Vicksburg Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born in Union Church, Miss., and had lived in Madison Parish for 56 years. He was a retired mechanic for the Madison Parish School Board and a farmer. He was a member of Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Survivors include one son: Lloyd T. "Shorty" Erwin, Tallulah; one (laughter: Carol Erwin Roberson, Vicksburg; two sisters: Velma Stroud and Fannie Fontenot, both of Greenville, Miss.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ed Roberson, Neal Roberson, Keith Erwin, Rickey Landrum, Brian Germany and Timmy Curtis.
