All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Myron Reece Erwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 28, 2008 TALLULAH -- Myron Reece Erwin died Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Brookwood Medical Center in Homewood, Ala. He was 89. Born in Glenwood, Ark., Mr. Erwin had lived in Tallulah for a number of years. He was retired postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Tallulah Masonic Lodge No. 308 and First Baptist Church of Tallulah. He is survived by his wife, Frances Polly Erwin of Homewood; one daughter, Judy Lynn Horbelt of Hoover, Ala.; three sisters, Jannie Lue Erwin Shehan of Bowling Green, Ky., Joy Veronne Erwin Roan of Natchitoches, La., and Emma Jean Erwin Anderson of Clearwater, Fla.; and one brother, Billie Rue Erwin of Alexandria, La. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Pallbearers will be Warren Hopkins, Paul Meeks, Jerry Wilson, Charles M. Finlayson, Gene Cox, Gary Murray, Everett Edwards and Gary Malone. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Harmon, Ira Hugh Erwin, Nolan Smith and Joe Williamson.
