All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Louise Smith Erwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 11, 1998 Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Smith Erwin, age 78, of Tallulah, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Erwin died Wednesday, March 11, 1998, in the Vicksburg Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Rocky Branch, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 60 years. She was a retired hair stylist and a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include two daughters: Thelma Primeaux of Baton Rouge and Jean Ivey of Tallulah; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lloyd T. Erwin, Eddie Roberson, Eric Primeaux, Val Argeant, Dan Primeaux and DeWayne Primeaux. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
