All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Louie Clifton Erwin Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 6, 1995 Funeral services for Louie Clifton Erwin Sr. of Tallulah was held Sunday, Sept. 3, in the Chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Erwin died Friday, Sept. 1, 1995, at Vicksburg Medical Center. He was 91. He was born in Union Church, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for 60 years. He was a retired police officer with the Tallulah Police Department and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Letha E. Smith of Clinton, Miss.; a son, Buster Erwin of Tallulah; a brother, Roy Erwin of Tallulah; three sisters, Hattie Erwin McMillian of Meadville, Miss., Fannye Erwin Fontenot and Velma Erwin Stroud, both of Greenville, Miss.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
