All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Kirby Erwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 11, 1972 Kirby Erwin rites held Kirby Erwin, 57, died suddenly Sunday night, at a Vicksburg hospital of an apparent heart attack. A native of Union Church, Miss. Mr. Erwin had lived in Tallulah for the past 35 years. He was a member of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church and manager of Delta Supply Warehouse. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a. m., Tuesday at the Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Nat Heeth officiating. Burial followed at the Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Erwin is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise Erwin; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Primeaux, Baton Rouge, and Miss Jean Erwin, Tallulah; three grandchildren; three brothers, Leslie, Cliff and Roy Erwin, all of Tallulah; five sisters. Mrs. Hattie McMillan, Meadville, Miss" Mrs. Ollie Mitchell, Clayton, La., Mrs. Ludie Mitchell, Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. Fannie Fontenot, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Velmer Stroud, Greenville, Miss. Pallbearers were Louis Buchner, T. H. Jones, Russell Campbell, James Bowles, Tom Bradley and J. W. Ellis.
