Eggleston - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 10, 1967 Funeral Services Held Wednesday For G. E. Eggleston Funeral services for George E. Eggleston, 64, were held at 4:00 p. m. Wednesday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyndon Brown officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. He was the owner of Busy Electric Company of Tallulah. Mr. Eggleston was a native of Vicksburg and died in a Vicksburg hospital Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge 308. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Olive Eggleston of Tallulah; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were A. H. Willett, H. C. Sevier, Jr., L. A. Nettles, Rufus Yerger, R. G. Waugh, R. W. Gandy, Jr., R. L. Moncrief and I. Rosenzweig.
