All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mitchell Edwards - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 9, 1985 Mitchell Edwards, 69, died last Thursday at a Jackson, Miss., hospital after a long illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. O. B. Robertson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Edwards had lived in Tallulah for 35 years. He was a World War II Army veteran, retired from Louisiana Department of Highways and member of the Parkview Church. Survivors include his wife, Eddie Edwards of Tallulah; one brother, J. W. Edwards of Forest Hill; one sister, Mrs. Allien Fincher of Forest Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
