Dykes - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 14, 1995 Services for Eva A. Dykes were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah in charge. Mrs. Dykes died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at her home. She was 70. She was a native of Crowville, La., and had lived in Tallulah for the past 55 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by one son, Joe C. Dykes Jr. of Buda, Texas; three daughters, Patricia Metoyer of Lake Charles, Connie Johnston of Transylvania and Janie Smith of Tallulah; four brothers , Cecil Graham and Johnny Graham, both of Monroe, Melvin Graham of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Leo Graham of Riverside, Calif.; five sisters, Louise Jacobs and Mary Wood, both of Tallulah, Ida Wood and Alma Ates, both of Monroe, and Joyce Hicks of West Monroe; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Shelton Ezell, Jerry Walley, Chad Ezell, Paul Johnston, Calvin Johnston, Brandon Dykes, Cliff Smith and T. K. Stanley.
