All rights reserved. ************************************************ Guy Edward Dycus - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post July 9, 2002 TALLULAH - Guy Edward Dycus died Sunday, July 7, 2002, at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He was 61. Born in Independence, La., Mr. Dycus had lived in Madison Parish for 25 years. He was a produce vendor, a retired construction worker and a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann Mejias Dycus of Tallulah; three sons, Jerry Dycus of Danville, Ala., and Michael Mejias and Jonathan Mejias, both of Tallulah; his daughter, Sherry Jenkins of Tallulah; his stepson, Sammy Mejias of Tallulah; his brother, Larry Dycus of Vicksburg; four sisters, Inez Hill of Chase, Mich., Lois Melton of Grenada, JoAnn Dornbush of Vicksburg and Mildred Guin of Newellton; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Larry Litton, Jesse Mejias, Freeman Hill, Vince Haven, Joe VanHorn and James Litton.
