Mr. Dugdale is a former resident of Tallulah. Mr. Dugdale, retired master sergeant of the Army, died Sunday after a lengthy illness, and funeral services were held Monday at 3 p. m. at Hartman Funeral Home. The Rev. Rowe Holcomb officiated. Burial was in Hazelhurst Cemetery. Born in San Francisco, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dugdale. He served in Army 23 years having been recalled three times after World War II. He was a camouflage expert and officer of Public Information. 'He saw duty in Hawaii, Okinawa, Germany, Korea, and various parts of the U. S. He was editor of the Ryukyan Review, the only English-language paper on Okinawa at that time, and was also the editor of the Port Reporter Army newspaper, in Bremerhaven Germany. Survivors include his wife, Rosalyn Kemp Dugdale (and others.)
