All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Nettie Donham - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 24, 1979 Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Donham were held in Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home, Tallulah. Mrs. Donham died Friday in Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a short illness. She was a Union Parish native, a Tallulah resident, a housewife and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Robert Hancock of Tallulah and Eugene Hancock of Pasadena, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Laverne Lee and Mrs. Jeanette Peyton, both of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Lavonne Givens and Mrs. Shirley Melton, both of Tallulah; a brother, Bob Williams of Newellton; two sisters, Mrs. Dink Smith of Mound and Mrs. Hodge Smith of Delta; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Robert Melton, Mickey Melton, Doc Sullivan, Bilbo Wilson, Richard Marshall, Jay Finley, Harold Bolton and Preston Clifton.
