All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Catherine Dodson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 19, 1986 Mrs. Catherine Dodson, 65, died Friday at her residence after a long illness. Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. O.B. Robertson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. She was a native of Richland Parish and a resident of Tallulah for the past 38 years. She was a retired employee of Madison Parish Hospital, a homemaker, a member of Round-A-Way Homemakers Club and a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Helen Hopkins, Lula Viola Prichett, and Cathy K. Holmes, all of Tallulah, and Georgia Ruth Moore of Crew Lake; her father, L. L. Underwood of Rayville; two sisters, Pauline White and Easter Ratcliff, both of Rayville; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Alfred Holmes, Shelby Holmes, Harold Bolton, Larry Ezell, Richard Marshall, Tom Lockbrunner, James Reeves and Nolan Smith. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Parkview Baptist Church Building Fund.
