All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ James Edgar Deweese - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 19, 1981 Services for James Edgar Deweese, 41, were Tuesday in the Crothers Funeral Home Rev. Lester Johnson officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Deweese died Sunday in Delta Haven Nursing Home after a long illness. He was a native of Star City, Ark. and a resident of Tallulah for several years. He was a route salesman for Xxxxich Dairy and a veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ada Deweese of Tallulah; two sons, Bill Deweese and Donald Ray Deweese, both of Tallulah; a daughter, Mrs. Debbie Warnock of Tallulah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. Deweese of Star City; a brother, Ernest G. Deweese of Pine Bluff, Ark.; a sister, Fern Deweese of Tyler, Texas. Pallbearers were Charles McKinnie, Bill Light, Larry Jones, Will Hattaway, Ted Hendricks and James McDonald.
