All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Carrie Ruth Davis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 14, 1987 Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Ruth Davis, 77, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Trinity Episcopal Church with Rev. Ed Robertson officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis died Thursday night in the Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. She was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a retired secretary, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Tallulah Trinity Episcopal Church. She is survived by one brother, Thomas Williamson of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Josephine Yerger Pettey of Tallulah; and two nephews and two nieces. Pallbearers were Charlie Arneson, Kirk Morley, Ed Paul, Carl Smith, Donald Walker and Rufus Yerger Jr.
