Dahlhauser - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 19, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Pete E. Dahlhauser, 54, were at 3 p.m. Monday at the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery. He was a native of Tallulah, served 23 years in the U.S. Army and was a retired 1st Sergeant. Mr. Dahlhauser was a decorated veteran of two tours of duty in Vietnam as a medic and 14 years in West Germany. He was a member and chaplain of the American Legion No. 100 and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Florence Dahlhauser of Tallulah; four sons, Sergeant 1st Class Peter E. Dahlhauser Jr. of Milan, Tenn., Staff Sergeant John Karl Dahlhauser of West Germany, Robert Lee Dahlhauser of Tallulah and Private Randy Bruce Dahlhauser of Fort McClellan, Ala.; four brothers, Aloysius "Bud" Dahlhauser of West Bend, Iowa, Matthew Dahlhauser of Mineral Wells, Tex., Gerald Dahlhauser and Clement Dahlhauser, both of Tallulah; five sisters, Adeline Batchelor, Dorothy Harmon and Gertrude Paulette, all of Tallulah and Anita Hall and Grace Florence, both of Alexandria; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Albert Sparks, Lane Wilson, Leonard Neumann Sr., Joe Reynolds, Gerald Collins and B. B. Harmon.
