All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Aloysius Dahlhauser - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 23, 1986 Aloysius Dahlhauser, 88, died Monday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a short illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Louis Voorhies officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Dahlhauser was a native of Lacon, Ill., a resident of Madison Parish for the past 54 years, a retired refrigeration engineer, a retired farmer, and a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. Survivors include five sons, Clement Dahlhauser, Pete Dahlhauser and Gerald Dahlhauser, all of Tallulah, Aloysius "Bud" Dahlhauser of West Bend, Iowa, and Matthew Dahlhauser of Mineral Wells, Texas; five daughters, Dot Harmon, Adeline Batchelor and Grace Florence, all of Tallulah, Gertrude Paulette of Mound and Anita Hall of Alexandria; one brother Joseph Dahlhauser of Stillwater, Okla.; two sisters, Sister Mary Presentation of Dubuque, Iowa, and Rosa Laudenthal of Emmettsburg, Iowa; 23 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Virgil Neumann, Leonard Neumann, B. B. Harmon, Philip Scurria Sr., Jim Gilfoil, Fred Helton, Bob Craft and Mike Rome. A rosary will be said at 7:30 Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah.
