Joe Welton Curry dies Saturday

Joe Welton Curry, 50, former resident of Tallulah, and football player for Tallulah High School, died 
at his home in Baton Rouge, Saturday, Nov-ember 21, of apparent heart attack.

Funeral services were held Monday morning in Baton Rouge, and grave-side services were held in Tallulah 
Monday, Nov. 23, at 2:00 p. m. in the Silver Cross Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Curry; two sons, Joe Curry, a member of the Green Beret in Panama, 
and Mike Curry, of Lewisville, Texas; two daughters. Mrs. Patsy Stracener of Lewisville, Texas, and 
Toni Curry of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Carlton Curry of Reno, Nevada, and two grandchildren.
