All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Joe Welton Curry - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 26, 1970 Joe Welton Curry dies Saturday Joe Welton Curry, 50, former resident of Tallulah, and football player for Tallulah High School, died at his home in Baton Rouge, Saturday, Nov-ember 21, of apparent heart attack. Funeral services were held Monday morning in Baton Rouge, and grave-side services were held in Tallulah Monday, Nov. 23, at 2:00 p. m. in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hazel Curry; two sons, Joe Curry, a member of the Green Beret in Panama, and Mike Curry, of Lewisville, Texas; two daughters. Mrs. Patsy Stracener of Lewisville, Texas, and Toni Curry of Baton Rouge, La.; one brother, Carlton Curry of Reno, Nevada, and two grandchildren.
