Cupit Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 19, 1993 Funeral services for Mr. John W. Cupit Sr., 60, of Heber Springs, Ark. were held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Olmstead Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Therral Wilson and Rev. William Womack officiating. Burial was in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs. Mr. Cupit died Sunday at Central Arkansas Hospital in Searcy, Ark. He was a native of Crowville and a former resident of Tallulah. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Annie Cupit of Heber Springs; one son, John W. (Jay) Cupit Jr. of Heber Springs; two daughters, Cathy Hutto of Heber Springs and Laura Eason of Tumbling Shoals, Ark.; one brother, Bud Cupit of Winnsboro; four sisters, Aura Bell Blount, Delaney Blount and Eula Howard, all of Winnsboro and Oma Lee Harlan of Bastrop and three grandchildren.
