(Red) Cummins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star April 27, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services for S. L. (Red) Cummins, 55, of Tallulah were held at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah, with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Cummins died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson, Miss., Thursday following a long illness. He was a native of Drew, Miss., and had been a resident of Tallulah for 36 years. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Convention. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Cummins of Tallulah; three sons, Lee Cummins and Mike Cummins, both of Tallulah, and Chester Cummins of Houma, and one grandchild.
