All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Earlene Fondren Cummins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 21, 1985 Services for Mrs. Earlene Fondren Cummins, 72, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. W. D. Hooper officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Cummins died Thursday at her residence after a long illness. A Mattison, Miss., native, Mrs. Cummins had lived in Tallulah for 30 years. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include three sons, James Leonard "Bo" Cummins of Pittsburg, Kan., Aubrey M. "Bubba" Cummins of Vicksburg, Miss., and Roy M. "Sput" Sanders of Lubbock, Texas; five daughters, Jeanette Cummins of St. Claire, Mich., Dot Zarzour of Stoe, Ohio, Shirley Rogers of Tallulah, Linda Hamm of Rayville, and Eva C. "Dusty" Gillis of Jupiter, Fla.; three brothers, Albert Fondren and Tech Fondren, both of Tallulah, and Willie Fondren of Bessemer, Ala.; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and David Pickle of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Jimmy Fondren, Robert Dewey Fondren, William Earl Fondren, Lloyd Ray Fondren, Charles Fondren and Eugene Heron. Memorials may be made to Mississippi Baptist Medical Center, Gilfoy Unit C.D.C. Building, 1225 Northside Drive, Jackson, Miss.
