CUMMINGS DIES Mrs. Burrus Clara Cummings wife of H. E. Cummings, was buried here Sunday following funeral services at the Baptist church at 11:00 a. m., with the Rev. Chas. N. Kimberlin conducting. Death came Saturday in Rayville where the family has been residing since leaving Tallulah. Mr. Cummings is in the bakery business there. She was born in 1882 and was married in 1905. She has been a member of the Baptist church since August, 1905. Until her health bothered her some years ago she took an active part in W. M. U. and Sunday School. She continued her interest in church work as much as possible. Her favorite song, according to the Rev. Mr. Kimberlin, was "I Am Bound for the Promised Land." She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mary Sue; two sons, Harold B and Albert J. of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. C. E. Sherman of Yazoo City, Miss; and one brother, J. R. Burnet of Tallulah.
