All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Sarah Gene Crothers - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star May 18, 2013 Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Gene Crothers, age 77 of Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, May 18, 2013 in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00pm-3:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Tallulah. Mrs. Crothers died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a resident of Tallulah for most her life before moving to Monroe, Louisiana. She was married to her husband, I.T. "Doe-Doe" Crothers for over 58 years. She is survived by her husband I.T. Crothers, two daughters Ginger Weems and Kelly Honeycutt, four grandchildren Kate Neal, Haley, Hope and Holly Honeycutt. Three great grandchildren Austin Thompson, Remi Neal and Cotton Neal, all are from Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.W. and Olive Byrd. Pallbearers will be Dan Copes, John Edward Baker, Paul Machen, Bobby Todd, Sonny Paxton and Darryl Ellerbee.
