Crothers - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 2, 1975 Funeral services for Malcolm M. Crothers, of Tallulah, were held at 10 a. m. ---sday at the Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Nat Heeth and Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Crothers died Sunday in Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg after a brief illness. He was a native of Bunkie, a resident of Tallulah for 35 years, owner of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah, a charter member of the Tallulah Lions Club, secretary and treasurer of Silver Cross Cemetery Association, a member of the North Louisiana Funeral Directors' Association. He was also an elder of the Tallulah Presbyterian Church and an alderman of the city of Richmond, near Tallulah at the time of his death. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Crothers of Tallulah; two sons, Phillip Crothers and I. T. Crothers, both of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Nolan of Tallulah and Mrs. Melanie Todd of Monroe; one brother, A. E. Crothers of Atlanta, Ga. and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Simpson, H. C. Sevier Jr., Carroll Crow, Gus Willett, Crayton Laughman, John O'Shea, Jack Folk and Jim Folk
