All rights reserved. ************************************************ Owen Davis “Duck” Creed - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post January 20, 2004: TALLULAH — Owen Davis “Duck” Creed died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Colonial Manor Guest Home in Rayville, La. He was 89. A retired businessman, Mr. Creed had served two terms on the Tallulah City Council. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tessie Goss Creed, and six siblings. He is survived by a daughter, Connie Creed Parker of Wedowee, Ala.; a son, David Creed of Monroe; five grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Johnny Goss, Malcolm Bishop, Tommy Bishop, Jason Parker, Sean Parker, David Creed Jr. and Andy Vining.
