All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ James Couch - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 24, 1969 Services Held Tuesday For James Couch Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for James Couch, 76, of Tallulah, in the First Baptist Church with the Revs. Crawford Williams and Mack Bomer officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Cemetery under direction of Old Southern mortuary here. Mr. Couch died Sunday afternoon in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nellie Couch of Tallulah, five daughters, Mrs. Juanita Collins of Transylvania, Mrs. Enola Hopkins of Tallulah; Mrs. Lucille Thompson and Mrs. Lo-rene Smith, both of Jackson, Miss. and Mrs. Christine Worthington of Baton Rouge; three sons; James H Couch of Riverside, Calif., Billy Couch of Monroe, and Gus Couch of Tallulah; 29 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The grandsons were the pallbearers.
